In response to a shift in demand toward denser housing options, KBar has in the past few years pursued projects in more urban settings. Today, KBar operates development opportunities between Waco and San Antonio.
KBar Group is owned and operated by Travis Krause & Anna Swanson Krause. Travis’ parents, Mike & Jeana Krause, serve on the company’s advisory board. The senior Krauses started KBar Ranch in 2000 and are active investors with the company.
